 Educating a child
is a responsibility best shared between the home and school. The Hebrew
Academy is a Jewish day school, which strives to provide an excellent
academic and Jewish education. We endeavor to expose our children to an
intensive appreciation of their religious and ethical responsibilities.The creation of the State of Israel is one of the seminal events in Jewish history. Recognizing the significance of the State and its national institutions, we seek to instill in our students an attachment to the State of Israel and its people as well as a sense of responsibility for their welfare. Our goal is to develop knowledgeable, independent, proud Jews who will contribute to their Jewish and general communities. We are guided by the Biblical injunction: "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)
